Snow totals by town from NOAA data, length conversions, height charts, a converter and printable rulers, free of charge.
General, unofficial information
howmanyinches is an independent site. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any government agency or to any organization named on the site. Figures, dates and other data are unofficial copies or estimates for general information only. Nothing on the site is financial, tax, legal, medical or safety advice. Always check the official source before you rely on a number. Snow totals are estimates from a national analysis grid and can differ from what fell at your location; they are not for travel, roof load, school, business or any safety decisions. Printed rulers depend on your printer settings; check them against a known length before relying on them.
License for printables
You may print, copy and hand out the printable rulers and charts for personal, homeschool and classroom use, at no cost. You may not resell them, sell printed copies, offer them for download on another website, or present them as your own product. For other uses, email [email protected].

Snowfall: NOAA NOHRSC National Snowfall Analysis (U.S. federal data, public domain unless noted). Normals: NOAA NCEI U.S. Climate Normals 1991-2020 (public domain). Towns: U.S. Census Bureau Gazetteer and population estimates (public domain). The full list is on the sources page. Naming an agency or a data set does not mean it endorses this site.
Intellectual property
The site design, code and text belong to SV HUB S.R.L., except for the data and components listed on the sources page, which are used under their own licenses. You may link to any page. You may not copy the site or use automated tools that put heavy load on our server.
